Europe!

Here be an excellent illustration of Europe completed for Erin M (aka Ms Ventress)by a friend of hers, the rather skilled Laurie B. I like it very much indeed. I have said it before and I will say it again, seeing other people's interpretation of the Half-Continent is a genuine thrill. (I reckon I need to get something going where folks can show off their H-c inspired "stuff", whether written or drawn, hmmm...)

Very well done. It's like seeing her at 16.

My veri-word was "mating." Not sure how to define that one...

Cute! She kind of looks like Belle from Beauty and the Beast.

Wouldn't want to fight monsters in those boots, though...

Mr C, how far along is the book? Is there much to edit still? When will it be sent to the printer?

It´s such a long time until September. I´m waiting eagerly to read it and see the pictures.

What I love about Mr. Cornish's books is the fact that in 1 book, he set the foundations for an epic series of the adventures of Rossamund (Can't remember how you spell that name). Not only that, along the way he sets background story for the books he writes. Blowing our minds with numerous vicious and friendly creatures alike. The pictures are fascinating, but i truly love his books for the depth, the fact that Rosey-poo's is now kick ass, and the mysterious characters that are met and then leave Rossamund's life.

I can't WAIIIITTT for Book 3: Factotum, released this May!!!

Mr. Cornish, if you have had the time to tirelessly read the comments of your fans, please listen to this.

DON'T STOP WRITING THIS SERIES, CARRY ON TILL YOUR 100!!!!

The thing is also, it doesn't take me a day to finish! Which is good! It may take only a day longer to read, but the longer the books, the more i appreciate the Authors skill of keeping his readers captivated for 800 pages.

Yours truly,
Self-proclaimed biggest fan.

Mr Cornish
I really enjoy your books and especially like the expansive world you have created. I would just like to know whether Rossamund will (unlikely, i understand) or characters like Europe have travelled to places like Turkmantium or Nenin.
Will we ever see things like the bolbogis' or the 'haunted steplands on the borders of Magog (in 'Heil glassware' in explicarium)or the Loquor or Fiele? Thanks

Hello Mr. Cornish. I very much enjoy your books, and have noticed that you once said that part of the reason you put the explicarium in was so that people could use role-playing to explore it. I have done just that, and would like to know if you find it permissible that I shared some basic information online about your world so that people who hadn't read the book could participate. If you would like to remove, edit, or add to the information shared simply leave a message on the thread.

Dear Lonely Scribe,

Such usage is entirely what I would hope for, so, carry on, carry on! 'Tis rather neat to see a fulgar rendered into D&D - I want to play one now...

Dear MBT Rocks, *blushing* with such enthusiasm I am fortified to press on with the next tale of the Half-Continent. Well, actually, (and to answer your question, Anna) I am right-now working with my editors on the copy editing (the fine-toothed comb stuff they are swell at and which I am not); but I have a concept for the next text forming even now in my soul (involving a whole new set of characters) and indeed, Kieran, it will involve going out beyond the confines in which MBT has moved, even a journey over water, no less!

Stay tuned...
