Factotum typeset and ready to go! ...or... Still around!

Hey folks, a bit of an internet blackout period for me or what!

Great news, having just done the last tweaks on the typeset pages the text for Monster-Blood Tattoo/Foundling's Tale Book 3, Factotum is very very soon for the printers! (You've all had to wait so long I thought every little bit of information might help the wait...)

Some questions/points in last post needing to be answered, as I have to shoot off now I will just say of my intention to endeavour to get to them tomorrow.

Excellent news, Cap'n Cornish - all news at this stage is welcome...it gives an insight into the less sexy stuff that happens between you writing it and us buying it.

At what stage do they spray the books with that inky-perfume? I swear there's something more to the olfactory presence of MBT books...

I can't wait to read it, looking forward to it!

Good! Good! Not exactly sure what it means, but it sounds good!

And don't worry, just because there's no official release party doesn't mean there won't be people lining up before bookstores open on release day. Possibly even showing away in H-C garb, relishing in the odd looks of passerby. Just let us know the dates when you find out and you can be sure of it!

Your editors and marketing agents are more Machiavellian than I'd realized. First, through tantalizingly spaced delays, they raise anticipation to unbearable heights. Then they create a new US cover so that I've no choice but to buy the US edition, in order to read the story as soon as possible, and also to mail order a copy of the down-under version in order to complete my current set.

Umm... *shuffles feet* That is how it looks, isn't it. I must confess I hate how such things seem to work, but do belive that their is nothing at work here but my US publishers deep deep desire to get the books in front of as many folks as possible (and re-coup fiscally in the process, of course).

Having said that, is intention, or lack there of, a good reason/excuse for the unfolding of a Machiavellian plot?

Hello there Ive been on the brink of insanity wondering if rossamund will end up with Threnody in the end since they've been together though the good and the bad that happens. Also if you don't want to tell me ok but a HINT to if anything romantic happens between them would be EXTREMELY nice.thank you

well done on finishing the typesetting mr cornish, our printers have been waiting patiently for the go-ahead. could you please send the final version to the following email address...oh, and while we have you here, i happen to work as a financial director for the late mrs william baldish-smythe, who inexplicably passed away without leaving a beneficiary for her vast late husbands paperclip fortune...we need a safe account to transfer several billion into, so if you could add in your account details too, that would be great...cheers!!! (& congrats on the typesetting too...)
