More Goings Forth (by which I mean a book launch)

And I am back!

Thank you for your patience - I shall say more on my time in Sydney-town soon: it was certainly a good as well as stretching time. Met some most excellet souls, fellow creatives seeking their own yet similar path in this great maze of life (hmm... deep).

Today, however, I am wanting to let all Adelaide folks know of the launch party next Tuesday night, where we shall officially send Lamplighter off into the wide blue. Details are as follows:

LAMPLIGHTER LAUNCH
3rd June ~ 7 pm for 7:30 start
St Peters Library
101 Payneham Road, St Peters
RSVP 8334 0200

I would love to meet folks so come along - though I warn you that I am very ordinary (just in case you were expecting to meet some monstrous genius with an amazing pulsating brain ;)

See you there... and don't forget to rsvp!

I'll go Brisbane, California, Oklahoma then home again. How's that?

Wait, what about Melbourne? You could stop off on the way to Brisbane... the first stop in the MBT World Domination Tour!

Melbourne, Brisbane, California, Seattle, Oklahoma.

Now I think you're ready to book your tickets. If you want, in Seattle, you can crash on the futon in our basement and play my son's Wii.

Awesome awesome book, devoured it in a day. Swing by Texas on this grand world tour!

Ok: Melbourne, Brisbane, California, Texas, Oklahoma and Seattle. How's that?

Oh and I have a great pirate joke for you, oh Pirate Trish:

Q:Why are there pirates?
A:(to be spoken with your best piratey accent)Because there just arrrrrr...

Neat, huh? I must thank Tiger Sam, the wonderful son of my dear friend Phil Watson, for this joke. He is very cute the way he turs the "arrrr" into an "owwww"... but now I am gushing.

Q: Where do they keep their buccaneers?
A: Under their buccan hats.

Okay... not as cute.

gday mate,

well I am very happy to have finally after all this time to have met you. And whilst I was some-what dissapointed by the lack of any noticable pulsating brain...it was still quite refreshing to see you are as normal looking, as you seem to be through our online communication.

My friends reminded me on the way home that now you know what I look like any further stalking attempts on my behalf will be much harder!

Ah well...

cheers, I can't wait to finish the book - I can't wait to start it actually. And thanks again for the surprise at the end too!!

Great to meet you, sir. My security people have now been informed of your appearance so have a care, stalker-man!

(by the way what is ur first name?) so... ______ Cornish, if you actually did have a weird pulsating brain, I might actually stop reading your books because I would be so freaked out... lol... so I am glad you're ordinary...
well you're not really that ordinary cuz (from reading other posts) I have found you have a very good sense of humour, wich unfortunately is not present in most 'ordinary' people.

Oh by the way, whilst you're on you grand world tour (hate to add to your already huge transport fee) when you're in Brisbane, just catch a cab about 2 hours inland, and gimme a visit.. lol - I would tell you the name but I don't want creepy stalky people after me, seeming as it's a rather small town...

Hope to see you then! lol... as if...

always hopeful

My favourite town in QLD is Banana.

As to my first name, I will give you a clue: it starts with "d".

really!?!?! you've got to be joking! I would never have guessed it was "D"!! lol... I was just asking for politeness... lol... so what do you want me to call you? Mr Cornish, D.MCornish? D.Cornish?.. Bob?

lol... and I've never heard of Banana... if it is an actual place so (other than in QLD) where is this 'Banana' located?
