Breaking News

Fellow writer, Damien Brand, of Brisbane has let it been known that he has already been able to purchase a copy of Lamplighter from a local, independent bookseller in his home town. So it might be worth a squizz (as we say in Oz) at your own favourite book store to see if it is already in stock.

Just thought I'd let you know.

Well, giantfan, I cannot guaruntee that it will necessarily be available at you local bookshop, but it is worth a try.

It really will depend from shop to shop, and this news I got was from a fellow in Brisbane, so it is hard to say about the rest of OZ or the world.

Sure would be cool if you could get a copy, though.

BarnesandNoble.com has taken it off pre-order status; it says my copy has been shipped. We'll see what happens.

I tried at Galaxy Books in Sydney, and no luck.

You know, if you're ever inclined to do signings (say, ooh, upon the release of your new book or some similar occasion) they put on a good show...

...and uh, they're local to me, which doesn't in any way influence my suggestion. *cough*

Great character profile giantfan, certainly covering every base possible! ... and no problems about the spelling, you should see my manuscripts before other edit them. Indeed, this blog is an excellent example of me unedited and at a hurry ... what do you mean I am still human?!

Thank you for directions Mr Brand.

And thank you too, brian, may your enjoyment continue to the very end.

And arabel, I shall certainly keep Galaxy in mind, its a great shop who have been a great support to me from the get go!

Oh yes, its out. I just popped by my school library, and there it was, two of them, in all their paperback glory! Of course, I grabbed it, and book one too, as I read a good year ago and can't remember everything. I live in Sydney, if you wanted to know. :)
